What to do if you are involved in an emergency or an accident.

In an emergency, call 111 first.

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us. In all scenarios, please make sure you and other parties involved are safe first before carrying out further instructions. Please ensure your vehicle is in a secure or safe position off the road where possible, and not causing a hazard to other road users.

Every Mevo vehicle has a first-aid kit in the car boot. If your vehicle is missing one, please let us know ASAP.

Only when you are safe and secure, you can reach us by calling the emergency line (0508 111 MEVO 6386) from in the app or message us on messenger in-app. Please let us know your location and what happened, and we can give you further instructions on next steps.

Important: If a third party is involved, please collect as many details as possible of their vehicle, and driver if applicable. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Their drivers license details (and image)

  • Their insurer

  • Their contact details

  • Their vehicle details including license plate

  • Images of the incident scene and both vehicle damages

Please complete an accident form here. We will keep you updated as we work with our insurer on the claim.

If possible, move the vehicle off the road to a safe location. Then, you can reach us by calling the emergency line (0508 111 MEVO 6386) from in the app or message us on messenger in-app. Please let us know your location and what happened, and we can give you further instructions on next steps.
