What is Mevo Subscribe?
Mevo Subscribe is a flexible monthly car rental service. It allows you to rent an electric vehicle (EV) for personal or business use, including Uber driving.

What is the cost of renting a vehicle?
Registered Uber drivers can access promotional rates. Contact us for vehicle availability and pricing. Weekly payments in advance required.

Are there any additional costs?
Yes, aside from the weekly rental fee, you are responsible for:
Your own rideshare insurance (Mevo does not provide this)
EV Charging costs
Road User Charges (RUC) – RUC is a prepay system that must be kept up to date at all times while the vehicle is in use.
Is a deposit required?
No, there is no deposit required to rent a vehicle to use for Uber.
How does vehicle collection and return work?
We offer contactless collection and drop-off within our Flex Zone in your selected city. When returning the vehicle, it must be returned to the same city where it was picked up.
Insurance and Requirements
Do I need to arrange my own insurance?
Yes, you must obtain your own rideshare insurance. You can get a quote using the sample registration number.
You'll also need to send us a copy of your Insurance Certificate of Currency.
💡 Many drivers have insured their Subscribe vehicle for Uber with AA - small business insurance.
What is the insurance excess?
You will need to confirm the insurance excess amount with your chosen provider.
What documents do I need to sign up?
To sign up, you’ll need to provide:
A valid driver's license (front and back) with class 1F and P endorsement
A selfie holding your driver’s license
Your Uber driver number
Your preferred city for vehicle collection
Usage & Mileage
Is there a mileage limit?
There is a monthly mileage limit of 1,600 km. Any additional km travelled will be charged at $0.12/km.
Do I get a home charging cable?
Yes, we provide a home charging cable for your convenience.

Make a request on Mevo Subscribe
Sign up for Mevo – Download the Mevo app or sign up via our website.
Upload your documents – Provide photos of your driver’s license and a selfie.
Let us know – Once done, message us with your Uber driver number and preferred city for vehicle collection.
Receive your vehicle details – We’ll provide your registration number and guide you through the next steps.
