The Polestar is designed to be driven with one pedal. Tap the 🚘 icon at the top of the infotainment screen to access the drive settings. We recommend a standard driving profile with Creep off.

  • Adjust your seat with the buttons on the side of the seat.

  • Indicators are on the left of the steering wheel.

  • Adjust your mirrors by using tapping L or R on the side of the door and then using the joy stick.
💡 If you’re driving or parking in a tight space, you can set the side mirrors to automatically fold in. Press the L and R buttons at the same time and release after about one second. 💡

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to recharge before I end trip?
Any vehicle returned with electricity/fuel below 10% that can't be relocated to a supported charging/fuelling location and needs to be towed may be subject to a critical energy fee. This can include any costs incurred from towing of the vehicle plus a $35 administration charge.

What if my vehicle has low charge when I start my trip?
All vehicles visible in-app are required to have at least 20% fuel or EV battery. 20% charge in the Polestar 2 will be more than enough for most Mevo Trips within the Home Zone.

I am planning a long trip. How do I find a vehicle with over 50% charge?
If you do find yourself wanting to go on a long trip, hit the 🚘 icon in-app (top right corner) and select your fuel % threshold, i.e. 50%). You'll only see vehicles with the threshold % or higher.

Does the Polestar 2 come with a portable charger?

No, our EV's do not come with a charger. Instead, our app is integrated with the ChargeNet network around the country. Simply select recharge while on trip for directions to the nearest ChargeNet station and follow the instructions in-app.

Will I still be charged for trip costs while I am recharging?
Yes, you will be charged for trip costs while recharging a vehicle. This is because as soon as you unlock your Mevo to start a trip, this vehicle will be only accessible to your account and not be available for anyone else's. Billing will stop when you return the vehicle to an approved parking zone and end trip.

The infotainment screen is asking for a PIN. What do I do?
Hit "Log Out" twice when on the log in screen to return to the general infotainment display.
