Mevo has its own bays at Wellington Airport, so you can make one way trips between the city and the airport. Leave the car there, or pick one up when you land.
Airport fee
$20 for a trip that starts or ends at the airport, so a trip that does both is $40. Drive to the airport and back without ending your trip there, and there's no fee.
City to airport
When you approach from SH1 or Stewart Duff Drive:
Keep right and follow the signs for Covered Parking and Entry
The barrier arms lift automatically when they read your number plate
Head up the ramp into the parking building and follow the signs to the Mevo bays
End your trip in a bay signposted for Mevo. Bays signposted for Zilch are a separate service, so please don't use them.
What if the Mevo bays are full?
There are overflow carparks a short distance away - use the Mevo app to locate the airport overflow or start a chat on the Mevo website before you leave and we'll tell you where to put the car.
Please don't use a mobility park or any other bay without checking with us first.
A car left outside the Mevo bays without telling us may incur the unauthorised parking fee and recovery costs in our fee schedule.
Airport to city
The app shows exactly where your car is. To walk there:
Exit Arrivals and follow the blue Mevo signs to the lift to the parking building
Follow the signs to the Mevo bays
When you drive out, follow the way out signs to SH1.
Can I book ahead?
Yes. You can book a car in the app for right now or weeks ahead, so it's waiting when you land.
Can I pick up a friend and drive back?
Yes. Start the trip in the city, drive to the airport and back, and end it in the city. The airport fee only applies if you start or end the trip at the airport.
