Updates to Mevo’s Pricing from 5th November

From Wednesday, 5 November 2025, we’re updating our pricing to keep Mevo fair, sustainable, and simple for our growing community of drivers.

As our network expands and supplier costs rise, these changes help us continue to invest in better coverage, more vehicles, and a smoother experience for you - while keeping Mevo an affordable alternative to owning a car.

3. Simple Per-Minute Pricing

We’re moving to $1 per minute across all vehicles.

When your trip reaches the hourly cap, you’ll automatically be charged the lower hourly rate, ensuring you always get the best value.

eg. Once you hit 20 minutes in a Swift, you will be charged the hourly rate ($20).

4. Excess KM Rate Update

Our EVs are moving to 75¢ per excess kilometre - bringing all vehicles in line under one simple rate.

You’ll still have 200 km included every 24 hours, and this small change helps us manage increasing EV operating costs.

5. Insurance Update

From the same date, standard insurance excess will be $4,000 across all vehicles.
