Setting up the Swift for a comfortable drive

Seats

1) Pull the metal bar to move seat forward/rearward

2) Lift the upper lever to adjust backrest angle

3) Raise or lower the bottom lever to move seat upwards/downwards

Steering height

Find the plastic paddle below the steering wheel and firmly press it down until it unlatches. Raise or lower steering wheel to the desired height and raise the latch back into place - ensuring it clicks firmly.

Lights and Indicators

Lights and indicators are on the right of the steering wheel.

1) Off

2) Auto (recommended)

3) Parking lights

4) Headlights on

Press the lever away to switch on high-beam lights.

Wipers

Wipers are on the left of the steering wheel.

  • Mist

  • Off

  • Interval

  • Low

  • High

Pull the level towards you to activate the windscreen washer. Twist the end away from you to activate the rear wiper.

Mirrors

  • Locate the dial on the drivers door

  • Turn it clockwise for right-hand mirror, and anti-clockwise for left hand mirror

  • Press dial forwards (1), back (4), left (2) or right (3) to adjust each mirror as necessary

  • Fold the mirrors in or out by hand when needed
