Setting up the Tesla for a comfortable drive

Controls Screen

You can access the Controls screen by tapping the car icon:

Lights and wipers are automatic. You can adjust these on the Controls screen.

You can adjust your wing mirrors and steering wheel position through the Controls screen. Follow the instructions shown on the infotainment system.

Seats

Adjust the front seats using the buttons on the side of the seat:

1) Move seat forward/backward and adjust the seat’s height and tilt angle up/down.

2) Adjust backrest.

3) Adjust lumbar support (if equipped).

Levers

Left:

  • Indicators

  • Windscreen fluid

  • High Beam

Note: General lights and wipers are automatic

Right:

  • Reverse

  • Neutral

  • Drive

  • Cruise control

  • Parking

Climate Control

To operate climate control simply swipe up on the infotainment system and you should see the following:

1) Turn climate control on/off

2) Touch to adjust settings for the front of the vehicle

3) Choose the air flow

4) Touch to adjust settings for the rear of the vehicle

5) Adjust heated seats for driver

6) Adjust heated steering wheel

7) Turn on wiper defrost

8) Adjust heated seats for passenger

9) Allows you to keep climate control running even with the vehicle off and locked

10)Touch to adjust how air flows from front vents

11) Recurring timer for pre-conditioning

12) Control flow of air into cabin (fresh or recirculated)

13) Slide to adjust fan speed

14) Turn A/C on/off

15) Defrost rear windshield

16) Touch once to defog the windshield (the icon turns amber). Touch a second time to defrost the windshield.

17) Turn auto settings on/off
