Maximise your time in Queenstown by charging your Mevo electric vehicle overnight at your hotel. Many hotels in Queenstown are equipped with destination chargers, offering a convenient way to ensure your car is ready for your next adventure.
How to use hotel destination chargers
Check with your hotel: Upon arrival, ask reception or the concierge about the availability and location of their EV charging stations. Some hotels require prior booking or have specific instructions for use.
Locate the charger: Hotel chargers are typically found in designated parking areas, often near the main entrance or in underground car parks.
Connect your Mevo: Use the charging cable provided with your Mevo to connect to the hotel's charging station. Follow the instructions on the charging unit, which may involve scanning a QR code or using a hotel specific app.
Charge overnight: Leave your Mevo connected overnight. Most hotel chargers provide a slower AC charge, which is ideal for topping up while you sleep.
Worth knowing
Charging costs: Some hotels offer complimentary charging and others charge a fee. Confirm this with your hotel directly.
Charging etiquette: If chargers are limited, be mindful of other guests who also need to charge. Move your car once it is fully charged if the hotel asks you to.
Troubleshooting: If you have an issue with the hotel charger, contact hotel staff first. If the problem is with the vehicle, contact the Mevo support team.
