You can open the boot two ways:

1) Press the switch located under the rear trunk's exterior handle. The boot will automatically open. The vehicle needs to be unlocked for this to work.

2) Touch the associated Open button on the touchscreen.

Please do not try and manually close the boot. This could cause damage to the vehicle. Instead, you can close the boot automatically with one of the following two options:

1) Press the switch located by the rear trunk's exterior handle.

2) Touch the associated Close button on the touchscreen.

If the powered trunk senses an obstruction when closing, it stops moving and sounds two chimes. Remove the obstruction and try closing it again.
