What happens if I run out of electricity on my trip?
The Audi A3 e-tron is equipped with a petrol engine which will seamlessly take over when the electric engine is running low. In hybrid mode the vehicle has a range of up to 890km before needing to be refuelled.
Do I have to charge the car myself?
Recharging the Audi A3 e-trons are optional. Some Mevo car parks are equipped with an electric charging stations. Before and after each journey you simply plug / unplug the car from the charger. This is very safe and similar to unplugging a domestic appliance.
Do I need to refuel the car?
No, Mevo takes care of all the refuelling which is included in the hourly charge. In exceptional circumstances an Z Energy fuel card is left in the vehicle.
An electric vehicle is almost the same to drive as any other vehicle with an automatic transmission. The biggest change is just how quiet it is. Starting the car when the battery is charged won’t be audible, and manoeuvring around pedestrians it’s important to be aware of the lack of sound cues.
Do I need to clean the car?
No, not unless you have badly soiled the vehicles. Your Audi is used by other like minded people who enjoy driving a clean vehicle. We ask that you remove all rubbish and leave the vehicle in a tidy condition. If you have made a mess, no worries though - you can either clean it yourself or request a Mevo cleaning surcharge.
Can I use my Mevo to tow a trailer or boat?
No. Mevo's Audi A3 vehicles are not fitted with a towbar or towball. Chat with us if you'd like to see this technology added to our cars.
What type of chargers do your cars use?
Our Audi A3 e-trons are 2017 models, which all use the type two plug.
